Start with the 2-minute form or a quick phone call
Begin by completing the simple online donation form for Magnolia Motors Gift or by calling Heritage for the Blind. You will share basic details: where the vehicle is located in Mississippi, the year, make, model, approximate condition, and whether you have the title. You do not need to know the vehicle’s value, and the car does not need to be running. This first step is simply to confirm the vehicle, your contact information, and the best way to reach you. There are no fees, obligations, or pickup charges.
A coordinator calls back within 1–2 business hours
After your form or call is received, a donation coordinator typically calls back within 1–2 business hours during normal business times. They will review your vehicle details, answer title and pickup questions, and help you choose a convenient pickup window. Pickup is available across Mississippi, including larger metro areas and many surrounding towns. If your vehicle is parked at a home, apartment, workplace, repair shop, storage lot, or family member’s property, the coordinator will help confirm access details so the tow can happen smoothly.
Your free tow is scheduled for your location
In most Mississippi metro areas, a licensed tow truck can arrive the same day or the next business day, depending on location, schedule, and vehicle access. The tow is always free to the donor. The destination depends on the vehicle’s condition, age, mileage, and marketability. Running vehicles may be offered for resale, while non-running or damaged vehicles may be directed to buyers who can use parts or materials. You do not have to negotiate with buyers, arrange repairs, or handle paperwork after pickup. The donation program manages the next steps so the vehicle can be sold efficiently.
Sale proceeds support Heritage for the Blind
After the vehicle is sold, the proceeds go to Heritage for the Blind, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 58-2164446.
